Job Description
The role of the Field Care Supervisor involves supporting the delivery of top-notch care support services by carrying out a range of functions in the field. This includes assessing and reviewing individual services, supervising and instructing care workers, and working closely with Care Coordinators to plan effective care worker rotas.
You'll spend most of your time in the community, conducting site observations and evaluations, shadowing new care workers, and participating in multi-disciplinary reviews of service users' needs. Your office-based administrative work will be minimal, but essential to ensuring seamless communication and record-keeping.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To excel in this role, you'll need experience in conducting initial risk and needs assessments, working collaboratively with service users, families, carers, and healthcare professionals. A strong understanding of holistic care packages and ability to adapt to changing situations is crucial.
