Radio Communications Specialist

Job Title: Radio Communications Installation
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Radio Communications Installation professional to join our team at Busy Bee Recruitment. As a Radio Communications Installation specialist, you will be responsible for installing, testing, and commissioning radio communication systems, as well as repairing and rectifying faults on existing systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and test radio communication systems, ensuring they meet the required specifications and standards.
- Repair and rectify faults on existing radio communication systems, using your technical knowledge and skills to diagnose and resolve issues.
- Liaise with clients, manufacturers, and third-party suppliers to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Provide technical support and assistance to clients, including remote PC technical support and telephone support.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including reports and records of work completed.
- Work at height, as required, to install and maintain radio communication systems.
Requirements:
- Experience working with DMR radio systems from Motorola Solutions and Hytera.
- Strong working knowledge of Linux, IP, and computer systems, including TCP/IP, networking, and command line.
- Working knowledge of radio dispatch solutions.
- Ability to work away from home, as required, to install and maintain radio communication systems.
- Experience with systems and distributed antenna networking is advantageous.
