Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust as a Specialist Nurse for children and young people’s mental health and eating disorders. The role involves working with a multi-disciplinary team to provide high-quality care to patients with eating disorders.

Key Responsibilities

  • To work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide care to patients with eating disorders
  • To participate in weekly meetings with the multidisciplinary team to review patient progress and plan care
  • To attend regular training sessions to maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practice in eating disorder treatment
  • To develop and implement individualized care plans for patients with complex needs
  • To work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions of care between hospital and community settings
