Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Linthwaite, Huddersfield. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our pharmaceutical products.

The Role

As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for providing front-line support to manufacturing, working closely with shift teams to ensure the safe, timely, and compliant execution of processes. You will also be involved in technology transfer projects, commercialization, and product launches.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Provide expert support to manufacturing, focusing on executing processes safely, on time, and in compliance with batch instructions and quality requirements.
  2. Support technology transfer projects as a receiving site, including commercialization and product launch.
  3. Execute process validations, re-validations, Annual Monitoring Batch (AMB), and short-term improvement projects, collaborating with shopfloor teams to ensure accurate execution.
  4. Review and assure validation protocols and reports are technically correct.
  5. Ensure protocols are executed as intended.
  6. Write Manufacturing Process Transfer Documents (protocol, report).
  7. Provide expertise and identify innovative validation best practices.
  8. Execute process improvements and scale-up.

About You

If you have a degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Technology, Chemistry, or an equivalent scientific degree, combined experience in pharmaceuticals or allied industries, and strong knowledge of cGMPs and current validation sciences, we want to hear from you.
