At Cummins Inc., we are looking for a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, United Kingdom. This is a 12-month fixed-term position to cover maternity leave.

This role will focus on enhancing product quality by ensuring products and processes meet initial and long-term quality standards. The ideal candidate will have technical and quality expertise, with experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).

The estimated salary for this position is £45,000-£55,000 per annum, depending on experience. The successful candidate will also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A solid understanding of quality core tools and experience with NPI and PPAP
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in software tools used for quality and production processes
  • Effective communication skills, including the ability to negotiate and fulfill customer requirements
  • Metrology experience, enabling you to apply practical knowledge to the launch of new products and services

Candidates should hold an intermediate level of relevant work experience and possess a degree in Engineering or a related technical or scientific subject.
