Airswift is currently seeking a highly skilled Product Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing airframe structures for electrical vertical take-off/landing aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and develop airframe structures, including composite and metallic components, to meet customer requirements.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design maturity and compatibility.
  3. Define design solutions for new components and modifications to existing components, considering cost, weight, quality, manufacturability, serviceability, and performance.
  4. Prepare drawings and engineering data required for manufacturing and data submittal to customers.
  5. Ensure quality of deliveries and coordinate with authorized Design Approver Signatory on airframe structure.

Requirements:
  • Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering graduate or postgraduate with a minimum 6 years of experience in executing Design activities.
  • Experience working on eVTOL aircraft design, build, and test related work is an advantage.
  • Excellent knowledge of computerized design and analysis methods, including Dassault 3D Experience and CATIA V5.
  • Good experience of aerospace Composite (honeycomb) /Metallic materials and manufacturing processes.
  • Good English verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within an integrated project team.

Working Conditions:
The successful candidate will require some physical attendance at customer facilities for key meetings and design reviews, although an element of hybrid working between customer offices and Supplier offices is acceptable.
