Make a Difference in the Lives of Children

Nottinghamshire County Council is seeking committed and resilient individuals to work with children in our mainstream residential homes or children's disability residential homes. This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a unique blend of skills and qualities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing high-quality care and support to children with complex needs
  • Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individual care plans
  • Supporting children to achieve their full potential in all areas of development
  • Managing challenging behaviors and promoting a safe and respectful environment

Requirements:

  • NVQ3/Diploma Level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent
  • At least 6 months' experience of working with children, young people, or adults in a relevant setting
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
