Ambulance Care Assistant Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Ambulance Care Assistant to join our team at EMED Group. As an Ambulance Care Assistant, you will be responsible for transporting elderly, sick, and vulnerable service users to and from their medical appointments and between healthcare facilities.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Transporting service users to and from medical appointments and between healthcare facilities
  • Providing support and care to service users in need
  • Assisting with the handling of service users and ensuring their safety and well-being
  • Communicating effectively with patients and their relatives/friends
  • Maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the ambulance


Requirements:

  • Committed to providing high-quality patient care
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and be physically fit for patient handling and moving
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Familiarity with the local and surrounding area
