About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Active Care Group. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients with complex health needs.

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and experience in complex care, working with a diverse range of clients and their families. You will be part of a dynamic and supportive team, working in a fast-paced environment that requires flexibility and adaptability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to clients with complex health needs, including assistance with daily living tasks and medication management.
  • Support clients with mobility and handling needs, including transferring, lifting, and moving clients safely and efficiently.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of each client.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that care is responsive to individual needs and preferences.
Requirements
  • Kind and caring nature, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and support.
  • Flexibility and reliability, with the ability to work varied shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Own means of transportation, as public transport may be limited in the rural location.
What We Offer
  • Competitive hourly rate (£11.50-£13.50 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications).
