About the Job:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual to fill the position of Learning Disability School Support Staff. As an integral member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting students with diverse needs.

Job Overview:

  • To provide academic and emotional support to students with learning disabilities
  • To work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop tailored education plans
  • To maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment

Responsibilities:

  • To assist with hearing and visual impairments, communication needs, medical and physical needs, and speech and communication requirements
  • To support students with medical and physical needs, including administering medication and providing personal care

Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience

Requirements:

  • Experienced working with people with disabilities, learning difficulties, and medical / care needs
  • Friendly, confident, and approachable demeanor
  • Able to get stuck in and adapt to changing circumstances
