About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Medical PA to join our busy and dynamic team in Clinical Administration at the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust.
The successful candidate will provide high-quality administrative and PA support to multiple consultants and their clinical teams in the Rheumatology Department.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to consultants and clinical teams, including managing diaries, preparing correspondence, and maintaining accurate records.
- Use Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Outlook, to prepare documents, emails, and reports.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of medical terminology and the 18-week patient pathway.
- Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and external agencies, demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing workload to meet deadlines.

Person Specification
- AMSPAR Advanced Medical Secretarial Diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Word processing skills, including typing at 60+ wpm with 98% accuracy.
- Experience of using Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Outlook.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
