Educational Coordinator Lead for General Practice Education

Key Responsibilities:

1. Educational Leadership: Provide strategic direction and guidance to the General Practice Education team, ensuring alignment with NHS Scotland's objectives.

2. Team Collaboration: Foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration, promoting interprofessional relationships between healthcare professionals and educators.

3. Curriculum Development: Design and deliver high-quality educational programs, tailored to meet the needs of General Practitioners and the wider healthcare community.

4. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including General Practitioners, educators, and healthcare leaders.

5. Performance Monitoring: Establish and track key performance indicators, ensuring the effectiveness of educational programs and services.

Working Arrangements:

This part-time post requires 2 programmed activities (8 hours) per week for 6 months, reducing to 1 programmed activity (4 hours) for the remaining 18 months. The role involves working between the Scottish Centre for Simulation and Clinical Human Factors and General Practice settings across NHS Scotland.

Requirements:

Eligible candidates should be General Practitioners with a strong interest in Medical Education and a commitment to teamwork. Excellent communication, listening, and organisational skills are essential.
