Exciting Opportunity for a Multiskilled Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Multiskilled Engineer to join our client's team in Rushden on a full-time permanent basis. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our cutting machines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fault finding and reactive maintenance to minimize downtime and optimize production.
  • Assisting in the assembly and fitting of new cutting machines, as well as the repair and rebuild of older machines.
  • Reading and interpreting electrical drawings to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Working on and repairing new and existing machines, with a strong focus on electrical and mechanical maintenance.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance engineering, with a strong electrical bias.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings, with a focus on electrical circuitry.
  • Bench fitting, machining, and fabrication experience, with a strong understanding of hydraulic and mechanical equipment.

A competitive salary of GBP35,000 per annum, plus overtime, and a permanent contract with a stable and supportive work environment.
