Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Pharmaron. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our Rushden site, ensuring that all equipment and systems are functioning properly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
  • Respond promptly to emergency situations and perform repairs as needed.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment.
  • Ensure that all maintenance activities are documented and reported in accordance with GxP standards.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering Supervisor to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to maintenance procedures and schedules.
Requirements:
  • NVQ level 3 or City & Guilds equivalent in electrical or mechanical engineering, or relevant experience.
  • Experience working in a regulated industry with an understanding of GxP standards.
  • Broad-based knowledge and interest in mechanical, systems, and maintenance.
  • Safety-conscious and aware of key HSE legislation.
  • Ability to adapt to change and be flexible when situations arise.
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within a team.
