We have an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Operations Specialist to join our team at Pharmaron, a dynamic and fast-growing company based in Northamptonshire. As a Facilities Operations Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Rushden site, working closely with our small facilities team to support our site's maintenance and repair needs.


As a Facilities Operations Specialist, your responsibilities will include:



  • Conducting corrective and preventative maintenance activities originating from Work Orders
  • Responding promptly to emergency breakdowns
  • Ensuring that preventative maintenance schedules are completed on time
  • Ensuring all documentation of maintenance activities is to GxP standards
  • Proactively identifying maintenance plan improvements or omissions
  • Working on small projects, including design, installation, and commissioning
  • Constantly seeking new and innovative methods of completing work without compromising safety or quality

The ideal candidate will have an NVQ level 3 or City & Guilds equivalent in electrical or mechanical engineering, or experience gained in a similar role. You will also have experience working in a regulated industry with an understanding of GxP standards. Broad-based knowledge and interest in mechanical, systems, and maintenance are essential, as well as good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.


In return, we offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, a progressive and comprehensive suite of employee benefits, and the opportunity to work in a highly scientific and regulated environment.
