Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Anaerobic Digestion Laboratory Technician to join our team at our processing and treatment plant facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation of our Anaerobic Digestion plant, with a focus on plant biology and day-to-day testing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain quality controls for peak plant efficiency and report any non-conforming results.
  • Perform daily sampling, testing, record-keeping, and reporting on-site.
  • Collaborate with management, operators, and the business development team to conduct tests on a range of materials to meet operational requirements and quality standards.
  • Ensure adherence to Health and Safety policies and Codes of Practice, including the creation and implementation of Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and Standard Operating Procedures.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, or a related scientific field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience in Anaerobic Digestion laboratory procedures, techniques, and equipment handling.
  • Familiarity with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and safety standards.
  • Proficiency in using laboratory equipment, such as microscopes, spectrometers, and pipettes.
  • Knowledge of data analysis and record-keeping software.
