The Role:

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for minimising production downtime by carrying out routine scheduled maintenance (PPMs) and responding to unplanned breakdowns within stipulated timeframes. You will ensure that production operations maximise output and minimise downtime safely through regular planned maintenance. You will also respond to unplanned breakdowns in a timely and effective manner, working alongside engineering and production colleagues to minimise disruption.

The Requirements:
  • Mechanical Bias preferred
  • Previous experience as a mechanical maintenance engineer within Plant, Manufacturing, FMCG, Moulding would be advantageous
  • Relevant qualification or time served engineers (over 10 years experience for time served / City & Guilds / NVQs)
  • A good understanding of hydraulic & pneumatic systems would be advantageous
  • Open to training & development
