Listed Building Conservation Manager

We are looking for a skilled Building Surveyor to join our Estates team in Edinburgh. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conserving and preserving our Grade A listed gallery buildings and art collection facilities, ensuring they remain vibrant and accessible for future generations.
Main Responsibilities- Lead the development and delivery of the NGS Forward Maintenance Plan and assigned capital projects, ensuring compliance with building regulations, fire safety management, and asbestos management.
- Manage allocated building fabric projects, from inception to completion, including project coordination, procurement, and contract administration.
- Ensure effective asset information development, space planning, lease management, and Health and Safety practices are implemented across the estate.
- Degree level qualification in building surveying or a related field.
- Proven experience in building surveying, preferably with a focus on heritage property conservation.
- Excellent communication, project management, and technical skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
This full-time role offers a competitive salary of £48,000 - £54,000 per annum, plus a generous benefits package, hybrid / flexible working arrangements, and opportunities for professional development.
