Statistical Programming Leader

The Novartis Statistical Programming team is a dynamic and growing community of professionals dedicated to delivering high-quality results for clinical projects across the Research, Development, and Commercial spectrum. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for driving all statistical programming aspects of Early Development Oncology, covering multiple therapeutic areas.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and implement statistical programming strategies to enhance the efficiency of clinical trials.
  • Lead and support global clinical and non-clinical projects to drive functional excellence within AQS.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure high-quality communication and information flow on project status.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, and drive productivity and efficiency measures to meet strategic imperatives.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in life science, computer science, statistics, mathematics, or equivalent relevant degree.
  • 6+ years of experience in a programming or statistical role, including 7+ years of line management or equivalent leadership experience.
  • Deep understanding of clinical trials methodology, regulatory requirements, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
  • Ability to engage in strategic discussions with stakeholders on initiatives to boost the efficiency of clinical trials.
