About Our School:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Art Teacher to join our school community on a temporary basis, covering Maternity leave.

Your Role:

  • Teach Art to students aged 11-16, following the National Curriculum and adapting to different classroom settings.
  • Plan and mark pupils' work, ensuring they meet curriculum goals and objectives.
  • Take part in parents evening, CPD, open evenings etc. to maintain effective communication with students, staff and parents.
  • Ensure lessons align with curriculum goals & support student growth through regular feedback and assessment.
  • Build strong relationships with students & school staff to foster a positive learning environment and promote student success.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • The right to work in the UK
  • Previous experience in high school education as an Art Teacher
  • An up-to-date DBS check or availability to complete one
  • Two professional referees
