About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Commercial Property Assistant to join our team at Farrer & Co. As a key member of our Commercial Property Department, you will provide administrative support to our Fee Earners, ensuring the smooth operation of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organisational Support: Provide effective diary management, process applications and forms, and maintain a good knowledge of our systems and processes.
  • Client Relationship and Business Development: Deliver excellent service to clients, act as a first point of contact for Fee Earners, and assist with marketing communications.
  • Document Production: Create high-quality documents, make effective use of our Document Management System, and proof-read documents for accuracy.
  • IT Skills/Systems: Maintain proficiency in core IT applications, including the Microsoft Office suite.
  • File Management: Adopt a proactive approach to file management, ensuring all files are up to date, closed, and archived as necessary.
  • Financial Risk Management: Prepare bills, AML documentation, and conflict searches as required by Fee Earners.
Requirements
  • GCSE standard, grade C (or equivalent) at Mathematics and English essential.
  • Previous secretarial experience in a law firm essential.
