Commercial Property Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Property Manager to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As a Commercial Property Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial properties, ensuring that they are maintained to the highest standards and that tenants are satisfied with their experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with tenants on maintenance issues and organise timely repairs
  • Liaise with tenants on ad hoc tenancy matters
  • Keep all Statutory Health and Safety inspections up to date both within the tenants' demise and within the commercial property
  • Responsibility for ensuring the timely payment of rents and collection of arrears
  • Liaison with tenants over internal and external redecoration of common parts
  • Undertake minor works between tenancies and liaise with projects team for larger scale works
  • Meet and greet all new tenants at the commencement of their tenancies
  • Process insurance claims
  • Business Development experience in new client wins
  • Draw up accurate client reports
  • Attend client meetings
  • Periodically serve notices and attend court proceedings
  • Liaison with utility companies
  • Keep the list of utilities paid by tenants to managing agent up to date and ensure charges are being raised by accounts and ensure payment collection
Requirements:
  • Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS)
  • 2+ Years experience specialising in Commercial Property Management
  • The ability to work with a minimum of supervision is essential
  • Excellent communication and numeracy skills are required
What We Offer:
  • Salary ranging from £50,000 - £65,000 + Package & Benefits
  • Flexible working (3 days in office and 2 days from home)
