Job Title: Support Teacher Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Support Teacher Specialist to join our team at Navigate, Perth. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering learning opportunities with young people who require additional support.

About the Role:

  • Deliver education sessions to secondary-aged young people in a variety of settings, including Navigate and their school/community.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement individualised support plans that cater to the diverse needs of our clients.
  • Utilise a range of strategies, including trauma-informed and relationship-based practice, self-regulation, and restorative approaches, to support young people in achieving their goals.
  • Maintain accurate records of client progress and participate in regular review meetings to ensure the effectiveness of our interventions.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Primary or Secondary Education is essential.
  • Post-graduate qualifications in working with young people with Additional Support Needs are desirable.
  • A valid UK driving licence is required as travel to various locations across Perth and Kinross is necessary.
