IT Asset Management Specialist

Job Overview:
Leidos is seeking an IT Asset Management Specialist to join the Business Operations team of Leidos CIO. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the management of Leidos' hardware and software assets, including purchasing hardware, software, and miscellaneous IT requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop an understanding of IT Asset Management (ITAM) lifecycle activities and processes
- Administer goods-in process and associated asset tracking activities
- Review hardware & software licensing, support and maintenance contracts with stakeholders and initiate appropriate actions as agreed with supervisor
- Input license agreements into license management application system and maintain all required documentation
- Work with Leidos Supply Chain colleagues and IT vendors to progress IT procurement requests
- Administer the corporate mobile phone account ensuring all devices are assigned correctly and aligned with CIO asset records
- Monitor support ticket workload. Ensure completion of work orders in the IT ticket management system (Service Now)
- Understand and adhere to corporate standards and processes
- Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned or directed by their supervisor/manager
Required Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written and numeracy skills
- Strong customer service awareness
- Understanding process governance
- Good organisational skills, methodical and meticulous
- Confident and self-motivated with a positive can-do attitude
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Good Microsoft Office skills (primarily MS Word & Excel)
- Flexibility and able to adapt to rapidly changing demands & priorities
Desired Skills:
- Understanding of the IT Asset management life cycle
- Understanding of Service Now or similar ticketing systems
- Awareness of ITIL 4 processes
- Understanding of Project Management principles
- Power BI reporting
Clearance Requirements:
- Clearance to Start BPSS
- Clearance for Role BPSS
