Designated Safeguarding & Pastoral Lead Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our leadership team as a Designated Safeguarding and Pastoral Lead in Meldreth, Cambridgeshire/Hertfordshire border. This full-time role offers a salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, with 40 hours worked Monday to Friday.

About the Role

This specialist education service requires a skilled professional to manage safeguarding responsibilities across our facilities. The successful candidate will work closely with our team to ensure a safe environment for all students.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective safeguarding policies and procedures
  • Maintain accurate records of safeguarding concerns and actions taken
  • Work collaboratively with staff to identify and address potential safeguarding issues
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualifications in safeguarding or a related field
  • Proven experience in safeguarding roles within education settings
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
