About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join Barchester Healthcare as a Peripatetic Deputy General Manager (Clinical). As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing and developing teams in various care homes across the region. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and services that meet the needs of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop teams in care homes across the region
  • Implement action plans to ensure high-quality care and services
  • Lead by example and monitor standards through regular audits and clinical practice
  • Develop and deliver strategies to achieve goals
  • Support newly qualified nurses through preceptorship

About You:

  • Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with current NMC registration
  • Teaching, mentoring, or supervision qualification
  • Previous experience in a nursing home setting
  • Experience in helping residents with different health needs
  • Successful track record of managing safeguarding investigations and clinical risk assessments
