About the Role

The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn NHSFT is seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Medicine Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our General Medicine Consultant team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the continued delivery of high-quality care to patients within the trust.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide rapid assessment and management of general medical patients.
  • Develop and implement emergency services, working closely with other departments to improve patient care.
  • Contribute to the on-going service improvement programme, developing initiatives such as GIRFT and CIP.
  • Teach and train junior staff, medical students, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Act as clinical/educational supervisor to locally employed doctors and doctors in training programmes.

Requirements

  • MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
  • MRCP.
  • Full Registration and a licence to practise with the General Medical Council.
  • Meets the criteria set out in the Specialist generic capabilities framework.
