About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join our design team at Advance TRS. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering civil designs for infrastructure projects, handling everything from feasibility to detailed designs for construction, and supervising junior staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement civil designs for infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with client requirements and standards.
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support to ensure project success.
  • Conduct site visits and write reports to ensure health and safety standards are met.
  • Ensure projects stay on time and within budget, prioritizing health and safety in all design work.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting and financial management.
  • Prepare and present engineering solutions to clients, ensuring effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, checking and approving design documents, drawings, and calculations.

Requirements:

  • Experience in designing infrastructure projects, with a strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices.
  • Relevant degree in civil engineering or a related field, with working towards professional accreditation.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office and basic AutoCAD, with the ability to learn and adapt to new software and technologies.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work in teams and meet project deadlines.
  • Client-focused approach to service, with a strong focus on health and safety and a drive for continuous improvement.
