Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior/Principal Civil Engineer to join our team at ERSG. As a key member of our consultancy, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality civil engineering projects and contributing to the growth and success of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Delivery: Contribute to the delivery of concept studies and strategies, with a focus on hands-on design, planning applications, and construction drawing issue.
  • Civil Engineering Expertise: Possess a civil engineering degree and be approaching Chartered status, with experience in highway and highway drainage design.
  • Design and Planning: Produce masterplans, site appraisals, and write reports to support planning applications, design calculations, and construction drawings.
  • Software Proficiency: Experienced in the use of MicroDrainage and Civils 3D modelling software, with the ability to apply National Highway and Local Authority design guidance.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively with colleagues, including senior and junior staff, to produce designs, drawings, and reports, requiring excellent written and spoken communication skills.
  • Design Codes and Standards: Possess sound knowledge of relevant design codes, including DMRB, Local Authority Highway, and Water Authority Design Guides.
