Companion Care Worker

As a Companion Care Worker with Home Instead Senior Care, you will play a vital role in supporting older adults in Rochdale, Heywood & Middleton to maintain their independence and quality of life. This role involves providing non-medical services to help our clients manage daily tasks, engage in activities, and build meaningful relationships.
Our ideal candidate will have a compassionate and empathetic nature, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will also need to have a full UK driving licence and access to your own transport. While previous experience in care or a related field is desirable, it is not essential.

Key Responsibilities:
- Providing companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assisting with daily tasks such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and personal care
- Encouraging clients to engage in activities that promote their physical and mental well-being
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting any changes or concerns to the management team
Requirements:
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own transport
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient and understanding approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- No specific qualifications required, but previous experience in care or a related field is desirable
Salary: £18,000 - £20,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
