About the Role


We are seeking a highly skilled individual to join our Power & Utilities business as an Associate Director. As part of this role, you will work on a range of projects in the water and energy network sectors, focusing on robust economic analysis and cost benchmarking.



Key Responsibilities



  • Conducting economic analyses and developing econometric models to compare costs across companies
  • Supporting clients through cost-benefit analysis and other benchmarking approaches
  • Engaging with clients and developing reports on project findings
  • Developing the skills of more junior staff


Requirements


To be successful in this role, you will have:



  • Experience in the utilities sector, either in industry, regulation, or consulting
  • Familiarity with data sources for the utility sectors and ability to collect, verify, and analyze data
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks, micro-economics, or finance, or strong understanding of micro-economic principles
  • Excellent report writing, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
