Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Soft Play Lead to join our team at Active Day Camps. As a Soft Play Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing and facilitating children's activities in a soft play environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a reputable childcare provider and contribute to the development and enjoyment of young children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Soft Play Sessions: Ensure the successful delivery of soft play sessions, meeting session objectives and providing a safe and enjoyable experience for children.
  • Monitor Children: Monitor children to ensure they play safely, follow the rules of the play area, and avoid any hazardous behavior.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Provide customers with an enjoyable, exciting, and safe experience, engaging with children and parents/guardians to address any concerns.
  • Maintain a Safe Environment: Ensure a consistently high standard of safety, maintenance, and cleanliness in all areas, including checking equipment and sanitizing relevant areas between sessions.
  • First Aid and Emergency Response: Be prepared to handle minor injuries or incidents by administering first aid or knowing how to respond in case of emergencies.

Requirements:

  • Experience Working with Children: Previous experience of working with children, preferably within a nursery, playgroup, or leisure center environment.
  • Early Years Qualified: Early Years Qualified (desirable).
  • Current Enhanced DBS and Paediatric First Aid: Current Enhanced DBS and Paediatric First Aid (desirable).
  • Experience with Programme Management: Experience with programme management.
