Job SummaryWe're seeking a highly skilled and passionate Play Ambassador to join our team of energetic and imaginative play professionals. As a Play Ambassador, you will be responsible for delivering creative and imaginative play sessions, facilitating free play, and ensuring the environment is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver Creative Play Sessions
Develop and deliver engaging play sessions in structured classes across the club play areas, in accordance with the Play Team guidelines and Weekly Themes.
Facilitate Free PlayEnsure a welcoming and inclusive environment for members, facilitating free play and engaging with children and adults alike.
Pool Parties and Swimming LessonsDeliver epic pool parties and swimming lessons, utilizing your creativity and energy to create unforgettable experiences.
Environment MaintenanceEnsure the play areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety, adhering to the club's procedures and policies.
Setup and RotationSet up the play areas for activities, rotate and clean resources, and ensure a range of age-appropriate toys and games are available and ready for play.
Weekly AdventuresPrepare for and deliver weekly adventures and experiences, ensuring they are safe, age-appropriate, and engaging.
Supervision and MonitoringSupervise and monitor group play, assisting and intervening where necessary.
Fair Play CodeAssist in implementing our Fair Play Code, leading by example and communicating consistently.
TeamworkWork collaboratively with the team to deliver a 5-star family experience for our members.
Requirements- Experience
Minimum 1 year of work experience delivering children's activities in professional settings, such as childcare, play, and educational environments.
QualificationsMinimum of NVQ Level 2 in Play work/childcare or SEQ Level 2 or equivalent. Those with SEQ Level 1 swimming assistant will also be considered.
SkillsFluent in spoken and written English, ability to swim, and clear Enhanced DBS.
PersonalityPassionate about play and child engagement, creative, organized, calm, and collected, with the ability to communicate with both children and adults simultaneously.
Benefits- Competitive Salary
£27,352 - £28,852 per annum inclusive of tronc/service charge.
Full-time Position40 hours per week, over 5 days, with weekend availability required for full-time positions.
Benefits Package28 days of holiday per year, regular training, rewards and recognition evenings, full uniform supplied, lunch on duty provided, and additional benefits.
