About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Rheumatology Team as a Therapy Audit Coordinator. This is a part-time opportunity that will play a key role in assisting the team in safely monitoring the blood results of patients who have been prescribed disease modifying anti-rheumatic drugs.

Main Responsibilities

  • Operating the TA monitor system to print abnormal results and alerting clinics to patients with abnormal results.
  • Updating the database regularly and recording any changes to drugs to ensure the system operates safely.
  • Supporting the TNF Co-ordinator with scanning and patient telephone calls, as well as occasionally supporting Med Secs in an emergency.

Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
  • Highly motivated and able to act on initiative.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and Rheumatology is desirable.
