Theatre Support Worker

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic nurse to join our Short Stay Surgical Unit at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. As a Theatre Support Worker, you will be responsible for coordinating patient care on the wards, completing thorough nursing assessments, and participating in audits.
Main Duties of the Job
You will work closely with a large multidisciplinary team, providing care to patients undergoing day surgery, covering all specialities: ENT, Orthopaedics, gynae, and general surgery. You will be responsible for supervising Trainee Apprentices, Trainee CSWs, and students, and acting as a role model.

Person Specification
- First level registered nurse registered with Nursing and Midwifery Council
- Post registration experience in a surgical/acute setting is desirable
- Possess a high standard of communication skills both written and oral
- Be able to effectively co-ordinate workload and liaise with multi-disciplinary team
