Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Theatre Practitioner to join our team at Nuffield Health Tunbridge Wells Hospital. As a Theatre Nurse / ODP in Anaesthetic & Recovery, you will be part of our close-knit multidisciplinary team, working with leading consultants and like-minded professionals who respect and value what you bring.

Main Duties

  • Be part of our close-knit multidisciplinary team
  • Work with leading consultants and like-minded professionals who respect and value what you bring
  • Enjoy a varied caseload with state-of-the-art technology, equipment and facilities
  • Supervise, support and develop junior members of staff
  • Create high-quality care and patient experiences that are clinically effective and evidence based
  • Interact well with colleagues on the ward, understanding that continuity in patient care is key

About Us

Nuffield Health Tunbridge Wells Hospital is a purpose-built hospital established since 1968, providing a range of services including diagnostic imaging, pathology, paediatric unit, surgical recovery ward, cancer care unit, and physiotherapy services.

Job Responsibilities

As a Theatre Practitioner (Bank) at Nuffield Health Tunbridge Wells Hospital, you will work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability. You will be registered with the appropriate governing body and have the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration, including NMC or HCPC.

Person Specification

  • As a Theatre Nurse / ODP in Anaesthetic & Recovery, you will be registered with the appropriate governing body and have the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration, including NMC or HCPC.
  • You will bring post-registration experience, flexibility, and excellent communication skills, as well as being a great team worker.
