Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Audit and Accounts Semi-Senior to join our team. As an Audit and Accounts Semi-Senior, you will work closely with our team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of technical audit and other accountancy services.
Key Responsibilities
- Support seniors on larger assignments by completing tasks allocated to a high standard and receiving feedback to improve performance.
- Run smaller assignments with assistance from other team members as required, completing assignments to a high standard and delegating tasks to new trainees while providing ongoing feedback.
- Pass professional exams, meeting all deadlines and requirements of the Rouse Partners LLP training policy, and completing the Initial Professional Development Programme or other work experience requirements as stipulated by the relevant Institute.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Maintain high professional standards of conduct and practice, being aware of changes in ICAEW guidelines and internal systems.
- Have effective use of IT, including Excel, audit and accounts packages, Outlook, and CCH Practice Management.
- Undertake Continuing Professional Development (CPD) in accordance with Institute and Rouse Partners requirements, maintaining an up-to-date CPD record.
- Be studying towards ACA (Professional Stage), maintaining a concentrated effort in exam study and link tests.
- Apply knowledge of Rouse Partners, industry, markets, and core client base, highlighting potential business opportunities to line managers.
- Able to organize and manage time efficiently and effectively, taking ownership of assignments and working within planning provided.
- Demonstrable experience within an accountancy firm in a senior audit and accounts role, aware of and communicating budgets and timescales to junior team members.
- Use technical skills to analyze situations and options for changes, being technically proficient in audit with excellent attention to detail.
- A can-do attitude to problem-solving, excellent communication and advisory skills, and confident working alongside senior management.
- Adept at team management and proven experience within Practice in Audit & Accounts.
