About the Role

We are seeking an experienced financial adviser to join our team at Austyn Smith Associates Ltd, an award-winning independent financial advisory firm. As a senior financial planning specialist, you will be responsible for servicing and developing both new and established clients, working closely with our founder to grow the business further.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing comprehensive financial advice to a portfolio of clients across investments, pensions, and protection.
  • Setting up meetings and conducting in-depth reviews of client's financial circumstances.
  • Completing risk analysis, research, designing financial strategies.
  • Assisting clients in making informed decisions.
  • Promoting client referral, networking with other professionals and broader new business activities.
  • Comply with regulatory aspects of the role and company compliance standards and endeavour to promote the interests and reputation of the company and work in its best interests.

What We Offer:

  • Basic Salary: £60,000 to £80,000 based on experience
  • Bonuses
  • Pension
  • 22 days holiday, plus three days between Christmas and New Year, as well as a day off on your birthday and an additional 2 days taken as a half-day per quarter
  • Core Hours: 9.15 am to 5.15 pm Monday to Thursday, 9.15 am to 4.30 pm Fridays
  • Exam support programme through to Chartered Financial Planner status if desired

Requirements:

  • Minimum Level 4 Diploma qualified
  • Currently working as an adviser with a minimum of 10 years experience as a UK-based financial adviser
  • Ability to build upon existing strong client relationships
  • Skills in acquiring and bringing on new clients
  • 'Can-do' attitude
