Child Welfare Service Manager

Polaris Community is a leading provider of residential childcare services and is seeking an experienced and dedicated Child Welfare Service Manager to join our team.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in childcare, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to motivate and support our team of Residential Support Workers.
Key Responsibilities:
- To ensure the needs of young people in our care are met and provide a high-quality living experience.
- To manage and lead Residential Support Workers to deliver exceptional childcare services.
Essential Skills:
- Good overall standard of education.
- Working towards or hold Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People's Workforce or equivalent.
- Up-to-date knowledge of Child Care legislation, children's home regulations, and quality standards.
- Previous experience working directly with young people with challenging behavior.
- Good report writing and numeracy skills, organized with good administration skills. IT literate.
- Able to relate to young people with empathy and committed to a high standard of child care.
- Strong motivational, management, and leadership potential.
- Good knowledge of relevant Children's Home legislation and local & national child protection procedures and protocols.
Salary: Up to £31,952.96 per annum (dependent on qualifications).
Estimated Salary Range: £28,000 - £33,000 per annum.
