Job Title: Recovery Worker

Buckinghamshire Mind is seeking a skilled Recovery Worker to join our team. As a Recovery Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with mental health needs, promoting their recovery, and empowering them to live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-to-one support to service users, helping them to set and achieve their recovery goals.
  • Work closely with the Aylesbury Community Mental Health Team to take referrals and support a caseload of patients.
  • Signpost service users to community-based support services and activities, promoting their ability to attend services regularly and independently.
  • Liaise with keyworkers to agree on patient-chosen activities and discuss future community-based support options.
  • Ensure patient electronic records are updated regularly and professionally.
  • Attend multidisciplinary and business meetings to discuss and share information around potential patients.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with at-risk adults and/or mental health needs.
  • Educated to A-level standard or equivalent in a relevant subject area.
  • High level of ICT skills, including understanding and experience of using databases and data protection issues.
  • Ability to write clear, concise, and relevant notes pertaining to meetings with service users.
  • Ability to prioritize work appropriately, meet deadlines, and manage a varied diary.
