About the Role
The North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Educator to join our team. As a Clinical Educator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the provision of education and training to staff and learners working in gastroenterology and endoscopy services.
Main Responsibilities
Develop and deliver clinical education programmes to support the acquisition of new skills and knowledge.
Promote an environment that encourages learning and sustains personal and professional staff development.
Provide governance in relation to mandatory and speciality specific education and training and preceptorship.
Lead on the development, delivery and evaluation of multi-professional learning programmes.
Ensure the delivery of local induction for new staff.
Provide competency based clinical skills assessment and feedback.
Support career development through the provision of career conversations.
Provide coaching / guidance to less experienced staff.
