Legal Counsel - Property

Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified lawyer with experience in commercial property law to join our Property Legal team as a Commercial Legal Counsel. The successful candidate will assist the Head of Legal (Property) and other team members with a wide range of property and development matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide assistance with property acquisitions, including legal and commercial issues, from pre-offer stage through to completion.
  • Direct external lawyers in relation to transactions and coordinate responses on legal issues.
  • Assist in the management of the construction contracting process for various construction projects.
  • Provide legal advice on property management issues arising from the Bupa property portfolio.
  • Participate in corporate acquisitions, including assistance with the acquisition process.
Requirements:
  • Qualified lawyer with experience of English commercial property law.
  • Exceptional commercial awareness and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in an in-house legal department is an advantage but not essential.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
