Maintenance Contract Manager

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Contract Manager to lead our Responsive Maintenance division within Wates. Based out of our Crawley office, you will oversee one of our social housing contracts, focusing on Voids, Planned, and Disrepair workstreams. Your key responsibilities will include:
Key Accountabilities:
- Manage a team of Supervisors, Administrators, Planners, and Operatives
- Monitor and review customer satisfaction across the contract
- Ensure large multi-trade jobs are booked and checked for accuracy
- Enforce company policies and procedures, including attendance, mobile phone, driving, and health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with the Commercial team to identify and rectify invoicing issues
- Ensure Health and Safety compliance in accordance with our Wates Operating Framework
We require a skilled Contracts Manager with:
- Repairs and Maintenance sector experience
- A proven track record in managing large Maintenance contracts
- Experience in managing a direct labour organisation and Supply Chain
- Strong Health and Safety Management skills
- Commercial acumen in running large Maintenance contracts
A full UK driving licence is essential. To succeed in this role, you must be an excellent communicator, able to influence at all levels, and have high organisational skills.
