Payroll and Pensions Support Specialist

About the RoleAs a Payroll and Pensions Support Specialist at Azets Group, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of client payrolls to agreed deadlines.
- Inputting data for payrolls when necessary, running audit and validation checks, and interfacing data to General Ledger and Pensions systems.
- Managing payroll changes to time and attendance systems (BMS).
- Administering the end-to-end payroll process and auto enrolment compliance for a portfolio of clients.
- Providing exceptional support to clients and being a trusted advisor.
- Acting as first-line support for pay queries.
- Peer-checking payrolls.
- Undertaking general administrative duties and working collaboratively within the payroll hub.
- Effectively communicating with team members and wider payroll teams.
- Keeping up to date with payroll legislation and industry changes through independent research.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous payroll administration experience, minimum of one year service within a busy service-driven environment (preferably within a bureau environment).
- End-to-end payroll processing experience, including pensions, benefits, and statutory payments.
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail across both manual and systems-based work.
- A strong customer-focused approach, ability to handle customer queries by telephone and email.
- Knowledge and understanding of payroll legislation, processing, and auto enrolment regulations.
- The ability to manually calculate a payroll.
- A willingness to study for a CIPP Foundation degree qualification.
