Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Delivery Business Manager to join our team at Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service. As an integral member of the Area Level Service Delivery Team, you will be responsible for the delivery of the area business function, including business planning, performance management, risk management, financial and contract management, business improvement, audit, assurance and governance support, and administration team management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the Administrative Support function within the Area Commands across multi-disciplinary teams in a number of geographical locations within the Area Command.
• Fulfil an internal and external business partnering role, providing linkage to HQ Directorates, territorial Area Commands, the Learning Development Centre (LDC), and build and maintain working relationships with external partners at senior level.
• Work in a way that fulfils the obligations of the post, currently 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.

Requirements:

• A salary scale of PO4, with a salary range of £43,421 - £46,464 per annum (Under Review).
• The ability to work in a team environment and build strong relationships with colleagues and external partners.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A flexible approach to work and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
