Job Title: Service Delivery Business Manager

Join Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service as a Service Delivery Business Manager and play a key role in delivering business functions across the Eastern Area Command.

About the Role

The Service Delivery Business Manager will be responsible for the delivery of business planning, performance management, risk management, financial and contract management, business improvement, audit, assurance and governance support, and administration team management.

As an integral member of the Area Level Service Delivery Team, you will work closely with multi-disciplinary teams across various geographical locations within the Area Command.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver business planning and performance management to ensure effective service delivery
  • Manage risk and ensure compliance with governance and audit requirements
  • Oversee financial and contract management to ensure efficient use of resources
  • Lead business improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and efficiency
  • Provide administrative support to the Area Commands
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent business planning and performance management skills, as well as experience in risk management, financial management, and business improvement.

You will also need to have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with multi-disciplinary teams and external partners.
