Job Description: Special Education Needs Tutor (SEND)

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Special Education Needs Tutor to join our team in Lincolnshire. As a key member of our education team, you will be responsible for providing academic and emotional support to students with special educational needs.

About the School:

The school is a large inclusive institution that provides education to students with various special educational needs, including physical and medical needs, Autistic Spectrum Disorders, social communication difficulties, and severe and profound learning difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide high-quality teaching and learning experiences that cater to the diverse needs of SEND students.
  • To work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement effective lesson plans and strategies that promote student progress and well-being.
  • To maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents and guardians.
  • To contribute to the development of a supportive and inclusive learning environment that values diversity and promotes social cohesion.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is £32,000-£42,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits including pension contributions, free training, and a generous refer-a-friend scheme.
