We are looking for a dedicated Special Education Needs (SEN) tutor to join our team at CV-Library in Nottinghamshire. This role involves providing individualised support to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and / or other Additional Educational Needs.

The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for transforming the lives of disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners through flexible and holistic trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people referred to Targeted Provision by local authorities and schools
  • Develop and implement tailored learning plans to meet the needs of each learner
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to ensure seamless integration into mainstream education

This is a part-time position, offering flexible hours to suit your schedule. Occasional opportunities for remote work and online teaching assignments may also be available.

Requirements:
  • Professional Teaching Qualifications (Qualified Teacher Status / QTS / QTLS)
  • Minimum 2 years teaching experience
  • Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and / or other Additional Educational Needs
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Two professional references
  • Right to work in the UK

Salary: £25-£35 per hour. You will work under a contract for service and be paid via PAYE.
