Ackerman Pierce Ltd collaborates closely with County Councils and Schools to deliver individualized tutoring services for children awaiting school placements. These children have a diverse range of complex needs, prompting us to seek experienced SEN/HLTA's/tutors/teachers.

We are currently recruiting for a Secondary Math's and English Outreach Tutor to provide face-to-face support to SEND Students who require access to Alternative provision. This role involves working with students who have Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver 15 hours of face-to-face teaching per week to students in need of additional support.
  • Develop and implement tailored learning plans to cater to the unique needs of each student.
  • Work closely with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination and effective support.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, or related field.
  • Experience teaching young people with complex needs, including SEMH/ASC/MLD/SpLD.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve shared goals.
