About the Role

As a Senior Advisor to the Deputy Mayor, you will provide high-level strategic support and advice on policy development, corporate programmes, and strategies. You will also represent the Deputy Mayor in relevant policy matters within the GLA and with external bodies.

  • You will analyse public policy and oversee project delivery to achieve successful outcomes.
  • You will engage with stakeholders and partners to secure strategic alignment.
What You Will Do

You will:

  1. Provide broad policy and high-level strategic advice to the Deputy Mayor.
  2. Represent the Deputy Mayor in relevant policy matters.
  3. Coordinate the input and response of the Deputy Mayor.

In this role, you will work closely with fellow Senior Advisers to ensure Mayoral policy is coordinated and effectively delivered. You will also contribute to reports, briefings, presentations, speeches, and statements for the Deputy Mayor.
